SATEC is thrilled to announce our new partnership with Yurika, the market leader in commercial metering services. Yurika is part of Energy Queensland which is Australia’s largest, wholly government-owned electricity company.
The flagship product to be launched is SATEC’s EM133-XM National Measurement Institute (NMI) approved meter. This product is a comprehensive smart meter that offers superior flexibility to Yurika customers, particularly in relation to electric vehicle charging and sub-metering applications. In addition, the compact design makes it the ideal power meter where shortage of space is a consideration.
“Traditionally there haven’t been a lot of options for customers in the sub-metering space, so the new EM133-XM gives more choices, plus it’s an incredible space saver – it fits in the palm of your hand.” says Brad Pye, Yurika’s General Manager Metering.
In addition to providing multifunctional 3‑phase power metering, revenue metering and power quality information, the EM133-XM also boasts a built-in Modbus output and two pulse inputs, with the option to expand by incorporating a four-pulse external module. This versatility makes it perfect for multi-utility metering applications.
“We are excited about our engagement with Yurika” says SATEC’s Managing Director, Ron Davis. “Our long-term development and evolution of the EM133-XM provides not only compliance to National Measurement Institute patent approval but features and standards compliant for use by electric utilities in the Australian market. We’re delighted to give Yurika’s customers access to this state of the art energy management technology”.
