SATEC (Australia) Pty Ltd - Terms & Conditions of Sale

Unless agreed in writing, all transactions by SATEC (Australia) Pty Ltd to the purchaser of any of our products and/or software will be subjected to our terms and conditions.

  • Prices quoted are net in Australian Dollars, excluding GST and delivery charges. All written and verbal quotations provided by SATEC (Australia) Pty Ltd will be valid for a period of 30 days, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • Prices are for supply of products only and do not include any installation, programming of devices, training, site visits, or any other value added capabilities. Prices for any value added capabilities can be provided upon request.
  • Any verbal quotes will be considered an approximation of prices quoted, and must be confirmed in writing by SATEC (Australia) Pty Ltd to be valid.
  • Minimum purchase order value of $100.00 net applies (excluding GST and shipping).
  • Acceptance date of any orders is subject to receipt of a formal purchase order from the purchaser; verbal orders will not be accepted. SATEC (Australia) Pty Ltd has final right of acceptance or rejection of any purchase order.
  • Subject to credit approval, our payment terms are net 30 day days from date of our invoice. We may change payment terms at any time or revoke any credit previously extended. Overdue payments are subject to finance charges at 2% per month. If at any time you have not paid all amounts due, other than amounts disputed in good faith, then without prejudice to any other rights we may suspend our performance under this Agreement, including our warranty offer.
  • All delivery dates quoted by SATEC (Australia) verbally or written are approximate only; we will not be bound by any penalties, charges, for deliveries delayed for any reason. Risk of loss of products passes to the purchaser on the delivery date. All sales are final. You may not return products to us without our prior written authorisation. Authorised returns are for credit only. Products will be subject to a restocking fee. Software is non refundable with exception of special agreements in writing from SATEC (Australia) Pty Ltd.
  • Any claims for shortages in delivery of product to customer must be reported immediately in writing to SATEC (Australia) Pty Ltd within three (3) business days upon receipt of material.
  • Full title ownership of products and/or software will not be given until full payment of any outstanding invoices is paid. Title cannot be passed on to any third party customers unless full payment has been made. Title includes ownership of products and/or software including all warranty and support.
  • We warrant our hardware products to conform to data specifications along with installation per the factory manual for a period of three (3) years from shipping, provided the delivery and invoicing originate from SATEC (Australia) Pty Ltd. Warranty only covers the replacement of SATEC (Australia) Pty Ltd supplied products. Extended warranties can be provided upon application. We will not provide any form of warranty or cover any direct or indirect costs for shipping, installation or programming of the product. SATEC (Australia) Pty Ltd will not be responsible for any costs associated to remove the faulty product from any installation. Warranty period for SATEC software will be twelve (12) months from final commissioning. For details, please reference our separate conditions on our software support.
  • SATEC (Australia) Pty Ltd its employees, officers, directors and any of its respective representatives will not be liable in any way for any losses, costs, expense, claims based on information obtained in drawings, manuals, technical data specifications, via catalogues, web sites, emails, verbal or any written information which may lead to the misuse of our products which may cause harm and/or damage to property and/or to any person or persons.
