SATEC’s BFM136 Branch Feeder Metering Technology, suitable for measuring up to 36 current inputs, has recently passed the 12KV impulse test requirements. This is one of many technical design requirements and prerequisites for obtaining local approval standards to be used as a billing/trade meter for the Australian market.
The BFM136 is a compact design for measuring up to 36 current inputs via SATEC current sensors (HACS) configurable for 36 single phase circuits or 12 three phase circuits or a combination of both for up to 36 current inputs.
Space saving and installation time can be reduced by upwards of 75% with installation of the BFM136.
With the advantage of reading multiple single phase and/or three phase circuits’ communications to BFM136 can be via RS485 or Ethernet TCP/IP for third (3rd) party software platforms or via SATEC free license software (PAS).
SATEC can also provide their web based licensed software package eXpertPower for electricity billing, energy management and power quality forensic analysis.
